A Independent Fundamental Baptist Church

Welcome!: We are delighted to have visitors, both to the website and to our church; but, as Pastor Jeff Blakeman says, "You're only a visitor once, after that you're our friend." The hyperlinks up above will take you to places that will tell you all about us, let you experience our beliefs and even let you sample a little of the ambience that is our family. I hope your stay is a pleasant one; if you are near Circleville, Ohio, please consider paying us a visit. Whether you come down from Columbus, up from Chillicothe, or across from Dayton or Charleston, you'll find some old time religion in a little country church. We look forward to meeting you.

Fundamental: My how that word has been mistreated. It has certainly been associated with everything radical. The truth is, it means exactly the opposite, and is simply used by the media to inflame passion and evoke emotion from the reader. What can you say when the chief tool of the media is least understood by the uneducated persons wielding the tools. In any event, the name simply means  we do everything by the Book. We add nothing, we subtract nothing. We do those few simple things written in the Word of God and we leave the bizarre rituals to the ecumenical church that follows the traditions of men instead of the Commandments of God.

What's that mean? You want to hear 'radical', God gave us two commandments; Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. God gave us two ordinances, The Lord's Supper (...this do in remembrance of me...) and baptism of the saved Christian (Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him... ). God gave us two responsibilities; evangelize the world (Go ye therefore, and teach all nations...) and attend church (Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together...) That's pretty much what a fundamentalist Christian does. The "how" comes from the 1611 King James Bible. It is our guide for all matters of faith, hope and practice. Come join us and find out why simple is better.

Salvation?

What is salvation? Has anyone ever asked you if you were saved and you had no idea what they meant? If you would like to know what it means, or how you can be sure you are, click the graphic, or click here.

What they've said:

"It's a blessing to be in a church where we don't hear different opinions every week, but we are simply fed from the true Word of God."

"It's wonderful to have a church and a Pastor that doesn't change with every wind of doctrine but stands on principles and proclaims them consistently regardless of how pressured they are by public opinion"

"What a wonderful bus ministry. Children and adults alike are no longer estranged from church merely for lack of transportation or family members who can't or won't make the time to attend church"
